I was raised in a church but never heard
the gospel. All we heard was you must join the church. At age 12 all the children my age went forward and joined the church. I was told by my pastor that is all I must do. So at age 12 I was baptized and on my way to Hell. I was married at age 18. My wife who had been saved was attending church and finally got me to accompany her. That night GOD did a great work. I saw myself lost and ask Christ to save my from my sins. That night for the first time I was a new man no longer condemned, but saved by the blood of Christ. After attending school in Louisville, KY in returned home to began GODs' work as a Bus Director, Children's Church Pastor, Bus Captain, Bus Driver and Bus Mechanic. We worked in nursing homes and with the homeless in the Atlanta area. What touched me most was the work with prison ministry from our local church. After two and a half years of going to prisons GOD called me to full time prison work and we joined Rock of Ages Prison Ministries. I work with several revival teams going into prisons working one on one with the inmate and having church type services trying to reach the lost with the Gospel of Christ. God has allowed us to see more men saved through this ministry than I could have imagined. We stepped out on faith in December of 2004 and GOD has supplied. It is the Churches and the People that have allowed us to serve. Please Pray for this Ministry. Your Brother in Christ; Phillip Brinkley |
